Why does the clock run backwards?
Reverse motion is intentional. KCOLC uses your device's local time and never changes your system clock. The reverse modes available vary by design.
Which designs are free, and what can I purchase?
GRID and TERMINAL are included free. There are no ads. You can optionally buy either of two one-time purchases — neither is a subscription, and each is yours to keep:
- SKIN PACK I — adds five more clock designs: VOID, ORBIT, INK, FOIL and MIRROR.
- CLOCKWISE — unlocks the clockwise-motion switch. It's sold separately and is not part of SKIN PACK I.
How do I keep the clock visible?
Turn on Settings > Keep Awake. It keeps the screen on while KCOLC is open in the foreground.
How do I restore purchases, or recover them on another device?
Both purchases are one-time (non-consumable) purchases tied to your store account. Connect to the internet, make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID (or Google account) used for the original purchase, then open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Restoring is free and does not charge you again. Purchases do not transfer between the App Store and Google Play.
I bought something but it isn't unlocked
First try Restore Purchases (see above). If it still isn't unlocked after restoring, email us your store purchase receipt and we'll sort it out.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No account is needed — KCOLC never asks you to sign in or create one. The clocks, your settings and purchases you've already unlocked all work offline. You only need an internet connection to buy or restore a purchase through the app store, or to open the support and legal pages linked from the app.
The app won't open or crashes
- Make sure KCOLC is updated to the latest version.
- Restart your device and reopen the app.
- Check that you have enough free storage space.
- If it persists, email us your device model and OS version.
How do I delete my data?
KCOLC stores your clock design and settings on your device only — there's no account and we don't collect or store your data on our servers. Uninstalling KCOLC permanently removes all of its data from your device. Your purchases stay with your store account and can be restored later. If you have any questions, email help@quantumcola.com.
